Moving Policy
- Moving is permitted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am & 4:00pm only. Saturday moves are now allowed, but only between 9:00am & 12:00pm. Please note that Saturday moves require a move fee of $500.00.
- Moving is not allowed Sunday or holidays.
- Any person moving in or out of the building must make prior arrangements with the management office.
- In the event a move is attempted in violation of any Association rule, the management office is authorized to disconnect electricity to the west elevator.
- Residents are responsible for any damage to the common areas caused by themselves, their movers, employee’s or agents, when moving in or out of the building.
- A moving security deposit of $250.00, plus a moving fee of $150.00 is required for a weekday move. Saturday moves require a moving fee of $500.00 plus the security deposit of $250.00.
- Saturday move times are strictly enforced. Residents will be billed at a rate of $100 for each hour over the 12:00pm limit.
- All items are to be moved via the Garage ramp and west elevator.
Please contact Kane Property Management Corp. (773) 472-2300, at least 7 days prior to your scheduled move day to reserve the elevator. All moving fees should be sent to Kane Property Management, 806 W. Belmont~2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60657.
Both the Security Deposit of $250.00 and the moving fee of $150.00 must be paid in certified funds (money order, cashiers check). No personal checks will be accepted.
